The apartment is part of the Palais de la Mediterranée;  a newly restored Art deco hotel and casino, which opened in December 2003, and its associated apartments. The hotel’s façade is now a national monument, and dominates the Promenade des Anglais between the Negresco and the Meridien. The apartments have direct secure access to the Promenade, to the side of the Palais de la Mediterranée.
